Balvenie The Creation of a Classic – 70cl

This expression from Balvenie’s The Stories range celebrates David C. Stewart MBE who pioneered the use of wood finishes in whisky by introducing The Balvenie Classic in 1983 – finished in oloroso sherry casks. The nose and palate take dedicated ‘Balvenians’ back to basics with aromas of lively vanilla, dried cloves and barley malt, followed by syrupy oatmeal, brittle toffee and dry oak throughout the palate.
